We look forward to presenting the 43rd Annual World Mini Grand Prix at GLEN HELEN RACEWAY, San Bernardino, CA. Following is information pertinent to your participation and attendance at the event.

RACER CHECK-IN ON TUESDAY, APRIL 15 FOR PRE ENTERED RACERS

  1. You will be required to check in at sign up to obtain and sign the Parental Consent & Minor Release form. Both the parent and participant must sign this form. All participants under 18 years of age are required to have this form on file prior to practice and racing. If someone other than a parent is signing the Minor Release Form, a Notarized document authorizing them to act as guardian is required.
  2. Transponders:If you do not have a transponder, you will need to go to the Trackside/Escore Transponders booth to rent a transponder for the event or if you own a transponder, to provide them with your transponder number. DAILY SCHEDULE:

TUESDAY morning April 15, the park gates will open at 8 a.m. CLOSE at 10:00 p.m.
Move into the park will start with those lined up in the Pre-Park area, beginning with ROW 1. Post entries will be taken between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

WEDNESDAY morning April 16, gates will open at 6 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m.   Practice will start at approximately 9 a.m. until conclusion. Wednesday practice will be for all classes (including Pee Wees) and will be the only practice session for the event. A practice schedule will be posted on Tuesday afternoon.

No tech inspection will be required. The current rules indicate all the requirements of both cycle & rider. If you have entered the stock class and wish to have your bike evaluated, you may do so. NMA Officials will check your stock bike for infringements of the rules. The bikes may be checked on Wednesday morning until 11 a.m. only.

The Race Schedule of Events will be posted on the line up board Wednesday by 1:00 p.m.

THURSDAY-FRIDAY-SATURDAY Racing will begin at 8 a.m. per the posted Race Schedule of Events.

GATE FEE - EVENT WRISTBANDS

Tuesday and Wednesday: All persons (racers, family members and spectators) who enter the park on Tuesday and Wednesday must purchase an event wristband for $60.00.
Thursday: All persons entering the park on Thursday must purchase an Event Wristband for $45.00 per person.
Friday:   All persons entering the park must purchase a wristband which will be sold for $30.00. Or can purchase a one-day ticket for $15.00.
Saturday : All persons entering the park may purchase a one-day ticket for $15.00 per day.

PARKING/PIT FEES:

Tuesday: Event/Pit parking will be $60.00 per vehicle for the event beginning Tuesday (fee includes towed trailer).
Wednesday: Event/Pit Parking will be $45.00 per vehicle for the event.

All gate and PARKING/PIT fees must be paid in cash. Personal checks will not be accepted. No vehicle, car, truck or motor home will be allowed in the park or pit area without a PARKING sticker.

VERY IMPORTANT PARK RULE:   Disabled persons will be provided a special permit for golf cart/4-wheeler at no charge. Permits for 4-Wheelers & Golf Carts and extra vehicles can be purchased for $30.00 for the event.

ENTRY CANCELLATIONS: The final day for canceling PRE-ENTRIES is Wednesday, April 9, 2014. NO REFUNDS ON POST ENTRIES. All cancellations must be in writing either by regular mail postmarked by April 9, email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or via fax 951-699-7404.  NO EXCEPTIONS ON THIS RULE.  

NOTE: All trophies will be given out after all races are completed. Trophies will be awarded to the top ten in final run-off events. In classes with no run-offs, trophies will be awarded to 30% of riders who raced in that class with a maximum of ten trophies awarded in any one class.

Pro payback will be as follows: Each of the pro classes – 250 Stock and Mod, 450 Stock and Mod, will receive $1,000 (1st is $500.00, 2nd is $200.00, 3rd is $150.00, 4th is $100.00 and 5th  is $50.00). The total purse is $4,000 based on 15 riders per class. If less than 15 riders in a class, payback will be 100% of entries received for that class (based on mail entry fee.)

YOU MUST RACE WITH THE NMA NUMBER ASSIGNED TO YOU IN ALL CLASSES IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR SCORING, TROPHIES, POINTS, ETC. SEE NMA RULES REGARDING NUMBERS.

BIKE SAFETY: No parts are allowed to be taped or wired to the bike. Kickstands must be removed. Your bike may be evaluated by an NMA Official and not be allowed to race if it is not safe and in proper working order.
